  3. *    Installation procedure for ARIS HexEdit for Windows NT (Shareware)       *
  4. *                                                                             *

  7. For faster download we omitted the SETUP program that performs the installation
  8. in this shareware version of ARIS HexEdit. Please follow the instructions 
  9. below:
  10.  
  11. 1. Create a new subdirectory C:\HEXEDIT (you may however use any other drive
  12.    and/or subdirectory name)
  13. 2. Copy the following files to this new subdirectory:
  14.    - HEXED32.EXE
  15.    - HEXEDIT.WRI
  16.    - REGISTER.WRI
  17. 3. Copy the file CTL3D32.DLL to your windows system directory
  18.    (mostly C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32).
  19.    If this file already exists you do not need to copy this file; however, if 
  20.    you receive garbled output in some dialog boxes you should use the supplied 
  21.    CTL3D.DLL instead of the already present file.
  22. 4. Create a new group in your Windows Program Manager (e.g. "ARIS HEXEDIT")
  23. 5. Create new program entries for the following files in the HEXEDIT 
  24.    subdirectory:
  25.    - HEXED32.EXE        (The program file)
  26.    - WRITE HEXEDIT.WRI        (Documentation in Windows Write format)
  27.    - WRITE REGISTER.WRI        (Registration information for ARIS HexEdit)
